Here we go . . .
Hey, I did it! I launched this blog about food and wine and eating and drinking and cooking and conversation . . . things culinary and wine-related, from a not-quite-novice’s perspective.
It’s about discovery, and the willingness to experiment and ask questions and try new things, and soak it all in, with a novitiate’s passion and enthusiasm. And about sharing that with others, and inviting them on the journey. And not following stuffy rules about what a person “should” eat and drink, and enjoy, and how, and with what, and so on. It’s about knowing how meaningful it is to share a good drink and a good meal with a friend. And, most importantly, to paraphrase Warren Zevon, it’s about enjoying every sandwich.
So let’s go — let’s enjoy every sandwich!!
